Album: Music In Trust Released: 1986 |
| Reviews: THE SCOTSMAN ... a delightful tape with Battlefield Band joined by Alison Kinnaird on clarsach for the occasion ... have never played on record with the assurance and skill that they demonstrate in an album of mainly instrumental pieces. FOLK ROOTS

Early in 1985 Battlefield Band, Alison Kinnaird and Robin Morton were asked to prepare and record music for a television series about the work of the National Trust For Scotland. (They own and protect a wide range of the natural and man-made heritage of Scotland). The series "Held In Trust" was a great success throughout the television channels of the world and the music - traditional and specially written - had much to do with that success. Click
